Data processing and distribution
By Al Data
This is in a way a follow on of the previous articles and will discuss the flow and promotion of your data utilising aspects such as social media and the various networks associated with them. I have noted a trend for people also known as users to rush out and hit the latest big thing, be it Twitter or Facebook. They immediately focus on the game of how many users and followers they can garner, approaching everything in the state of a would be spammer's mind, never slowing down to actually understand what they are doing. Believing that the more followers they have, the more successful they must be, yet at the end it couldn't be further from the truth. Develop relationships with your followers and those you follow, nurture your profile so that it is seen as something of value and not another numb numb simply collecting numbers. Whereas it can be seen as a numbers game the internet is about the quality of those numbers, are you distributing those numbers in a manner that can provide benefit for you or are you caught up in "look how popular I am with all my followers" nonsense. Google have also taken a stance at those with many twitter followers which relate to spam, for them determined by who you have as followers and who you have following you. If those followers engage in spammer type activities you are then labelled by Google in the same bracket, so beware, nurture your internet profile with care. This is not stated in cement but is being mentioned in more loose terms by Matt Cutts et al. Which to me is all good, as the internet should be reclaimed for quality content and not reserved for scam artistry and spammers. You have the content providers and the users who read the content, engaging your users with quality content leads to long-term sustainability and a solid business platform. They consider that the hobbyist who puts his passion onto the internet often becomes the most successful, so try to consider sharing your passion first before approaching things with the sounds of the till as your only motivation. Here's hoping this latest mumbling was of value

CONTRIBUTOR'S REPLY
Thanks there Frederik and Reg, unfortunately I don't make much time for qondio, so when I post an article I tend to write it off cuff and it is definitely 'mumblings', so often the grammar and spelling can be a little quirky Thanks for your positive feedback
Hi Al, Very good advice. And thanks for the warning. Reg
